Finnish food


Finnish food: influences from Sweden and Russia.                             
Popular food : pizza, hamburger, meat, fish, sausages.
Traditional dish: christmas ham, Karelian stew, sausage, meat, bread.
Breakfast: toast, cereals, bread, cold cuts, cheese, egg, yoghurt, berries, jam, apple, porridge, bacon, coffee, tea, hot chocolate
Everyday: potato, pasta, rice, sauces, soups, vegetables, fresh salad, curd, yoghurt, milk, water, buttermilk and bread.
Dessert: Pies, pancakes, buns, biscuits, cakes, muffins, monks, apple pie, ice cream, curd and soup.
Spices: curry, peppers, chili, herbs, sweet chili sauce, BBQ-sauce salt and pepper
Drinks: water, milk, coffee, juice.
